Emotions ran high at Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's royal Jaisalmer wedding on Tuesday. While the couple was all smiles and blushing brightly at the wedding, the latest reports allege that they had their share of emotional moments during the ceremonies.
According to reports on entertainment portals, the groom was left teary-eyed when he noticed Kiara's customised kaleeras that had their initials among other things including an image of Sid's late pooch, Oscar.
After the wedding ceremony, reports state that it was the bride who was struggling to hold back tears. It was reported that Kiara got emotional after watching her mother Genevieve and brother, Mishaal crying during the bidaai rasam ritual. That's when reportedly stepped in to console his wife and to assure his mother-in-law that he would be like a son to them.
The Malhotra family on Wednesday hosted a grand welcome ceremony for their new daughter-in-law. After a reception for their extended families and friends in Delhi, the newlyweds will head to Mumbai for a grand Bollywood-style bash for all their film industry friends.
