Here's how much parking costs in all of Dublin's main shopping centres

The Christmas season is fast approaching which means shopping centres across Dublin are set to be very busy over the coming weeks.

And with the cost of living soaring, customers might want to find the best deal on parking to save a few bob. The majority of shopping centres in the capital charge for using their car parks but prices vary.

Here's how much Dublin's most popular shopping centres charge for parking:

Liffey Valley

Liffey Valley charges the following for parking between the hours of 8am-6pm:

  • 0-3 hours - €2.50
  • 3-4 hours - €5.00
  • 4-5 hours - €7.50
  • 5-6 hours - €10.00
  • 6-7 hours - €12.50 (Max Day Rate)

There is a flat rate evening charge of €2.50 between the hours of 6pm - 8am.

Jervis Shopping Centre

Jervis Shopping centre has 750 spaces in their car park. Here's how much they charge:

  • €3 per hour

  • €13 max daily rate

  • €6 overnight rate (car must be out by 10am following day)

  • €42 five day pass.

Ilac Shopping Centre

Ilac Shopping Centre has 1,000 spaces in their car park. Here's how much it costs:

  • €3.60 per hour

  • €38 maximum charge for 24 hours

  • €7 for three hours or €10 for four hours when you book online at least a day in advance.

St Stephen's Green

St Stephen's Green car park is operated by Q-Park and is adjacent to St Stephen's Green Shopping Centre. Their parking costs the following:

  • €4.10 per hour

  • €41 for up to 24 hours.

  • €13 overnight (7pm to 8am)

  • €12 evening pay on arrival (5pm to 3am).

The Square Tallaght

The Square Tallaght only introduced paid parking for the first time last month. Here's how much it costs:

  • €1 for 0-3 hours

  • €2 per hour after your third hour of parking

  • €30 maximum daily rate for 24 hours.

Northside Shopping Centre

Northside Shopping Centre in Coolock is one of the few remaining shopping centres in Dublin that offer free parking. Their car park has 510 spaces.

Swords Pavilions

Swords Pavilions offers customers two hours of free parking, but has charges for stays longer than that. Here's how much it costs:

  • Free for 0-2 hours
  • €1 for 2-3 hours

  • €2.50 for 3-4 hours

  • €6 for 4-5 hours

  • €7.50 for 5-6 hours

  • €7.50 per hour after 6+ hours.

Dundrum Town Centre

Dundrum Town Centre has almost 3,000 spaces available between its red and green car parks. They charge the following:

  • €3 for 0-3 hours

  • €6 for 3-4 hours

  • €9 for 4+ hours (max daily rate)

  • €3 flat rate for 6pm-11pm

  • Free parking from 11pm to 8am

Blanchardstown Centre

Blanchardstown Centre offers free parking to customers. The shopping centre has over 7,000 available spaces.
