March 24--Three Fox pilots recently began filming in Chicago -- "Zoobiquity," "A.P.B." and "The Exorcist" -- which have brought dozens of TV stars to the city.
Here's a look at how some of these actors have spent their free time in Chicago in between shoots.
>> "The Exorcist," starring Geena Davis, is inspired by William Blatty's 1971 horror novel and subsequent 1973 film of the same name.
Camille Guaty ("Scorpion"), Brianne Howey ("Scream Queens"), Alfonso Herrera ("Sense8"), Ben Daniels ("House of Cards") and Hannah Kasulka ("The Fosters") also star. Filming, which has taken place in the Edgewater community, continues this week.
Howey visited Cloud Gate.
>> "Zoobiquity" follows the unlikely pairing of a socially challenged veterinarian Lucas Cort (played by Peter Facinelli) and an ambitious cardiologist Kara Martins (Marsha Thomason), according to Deadline.
Kim Raver ("24"), Melissa Tang ("Mom" guest star), Antonia Bernath ("Downton Abbey") and Wesam Keesh ("Awkward") also star. Filming is expected to continue into early next month.
Keesh visited the Art Institute.
>> "A.P.B.," from David Slack ("Person of Interest") and Len Wiseman ("Sleepy Hollow"), is about a tech billionaire who purchases a troubled police precinct after a loved one is murdered, according to Deadline.
Ernie Hudson ("Ghostbusters"), Natalie Martinez ("Kingdom"), Justin Kirk ("Modern Family") and Eric Winter ("Witches of East End") star.
Filming, which has taken place in the Old Irving Park neighborhood, is set to continue through April 8, according to the Chicago Film Office.
Martinez visited Margie's Candies in Logan Square for milkshakes and the Second City for a show.
Winter took in Tuesday's Blackhawks game against the Dallas Stars.
