Here's everything you need to know about the 'Dogs Trustival' event taking place in Finglas to celebrate a decade of rescuing and rehoming dogs in Ireland

To celebrate a decade of rescuing and rehoming dogs in Ireland, animal welfare charity 'Dogs Trust' will be holding their very first festival-themed event 'Dogs Trustival' on Sunday.

The event will take place at the Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre in Finglas from 12pm to 5pm.

Despite the mixed weather forecast we're in store for, the Trustival is an outdoor event that will take place rain or shine!

Attendees are advised to ensure they dress for the weather.

Dog tickets are sold out, and if you have already obtained a dog ticket, you are advised please ensure your dog is well behaved, comfortable around other dogs, children and large crowds.

Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.

There is food for both humans and their canine pals, including Dave's Wood Fired Pizza, Big Red Coffee Bus, Vegan Kitchen and Off the Hoof.  It is an alcohol-free event.

As for your four-legged friends, there is a whole doggie market called 'Tailwaggers Walk' where you can purchase artisan dog treats, toys, products and plenty more!
