The Indianapolis Colts added two more 2019 draft picks to the roster on Monday bringing them another step closer to signing all 10 of their selections.
The Colts currently have seven of their 10 draft picks under contract for the next four years. How those contract details come out will have an impact on what the salary cap looks like for Indy this year and for the years to come.
We will update this post when the remaining draft picks sign their rookie contracts.
Here’s a quick look at what the contracts look like for each pick with information on where to find them:
- CB Rock Ya-Sin (unsigned)
- LB Ben Banogu (four-year, $5.944 million)
- WR Parris Campbell (unsigned)
- LB Bobby Okereke (unsigned)
- S Khari Willis (four-year, $3.288 million)
- CB Marvell Tell (four-year, $2.848 million)
- LB E.J. Speed (four-year, $2.809 million)
- DE Gerri Green (four-year, $2.677 million)
- OT Jackson Barton (four-year, $2.599 million)
- G Javon Patterson (four-year, $2.594 million)
The Colts are still waiting on three of their biggest draft picks to sign their rookie deals. They could happen the first week of OTAs or it could happen sometime during the summer.
It should be noted that because the Colts traded away their first-round pick, they won’t get a fifth-year team option on any of the players selected in the 2019 draft. It’s not a huge deal, but it will have somewhat of an impact in the future.
Getting the contracts done quickly is always a priority so the rookies don’t have to worry about anything off the field while they familiarize themselves in the league.
The Colts have just three draft picks remaining to be signed from the 2019 class, which is something to keep an eye on during the immediate future.
