The Rediscovery Centre in Ballymun is hosting a number of family-friendly events this month.
Bring your little ones down as the centre will be hosting free educational events focusing on everything from history to science to sustainability.
While these events are free, you will be required to register for some of them.
November 2 - Ballymun Past, Present, and the Future
Kids will have the chance to take a journey through the various stages of history and future of Ballymun.
This will run from 12 pm to 3pm and will include tours, talks, demonstrations, and photo exhibitions.
The Sam Maguire Cup will be at the Centre at 2.30pm for photographs.
November 14 - Women in Science
Perfect for girls aged 15 and older, the Women in Science talk will feature the first-hand experiences of women working in the STE(A)M fields.
They will speak about their lives, careers, and there will also be Q & A sessions.
November 16 - Let’s Talk Science Festival
The Let’s Talk Science Festival hopes to allow children to explore the world of science and is perfect for families and kids of all ages.
This year’s theme is climate action and is the perfect opportunity for the whole family to have fun and explore science, technology, engineering, and maths through interactive exhibitions, demonstrations, hands-on experiments, and other fun things.
December 6, 7, and 8 - Rediscover Christmas Fair
The Christmas fair will see a massive selection of stalls selling sustainably made products.
Families can also catch screenings of Christmas movies, demonstrations, and eat delicious festive food.
