Here's 9 of the best spots for a few post-work pints Dublin city centre

With the weekend nearly upon us, it's time to sit back and unwind, and no better way to do that than in the company of a few mates with a few pints.

Here's nine of the best places for you to do that after work in the capital:

Jimmy Rabbitte's

One of the best pubs Camden Street has to offer, this traditional boozer is never busy to the point of annoyance, and there is plenty of cozy seats both inside and outside.

Definitely worth popping in if you work nearby.

The Swan

Not far away from the previous entry is this little spot, located on Aungier Street.

Despite its busy location, the bar itself is also usually quiet, even after work, and so worth checking out.

The Library Bar

This nice cosy spot on Exchequer Street could be the perfect spot for you to sink a few with pals.

Inside, you'll find a drawing room with an open fire keeping you nice and toasty.

Toners pub

One of Baggot Street's finest drinking establishments, Toners has a lovely heated smoking area, meaning you can sit outside and relax in all seasons.

The Market Bar

This class spot is perfect for large groups, as the tables are generally quite big, and the spot itself is very spacious.

It's located on Fade Street and has a tapas menu giving it that something a bit different.

Odeon

This spot like something out of a fancy film, and those working near Harcourt Street could be tempted to go for something different by visiting this place.

Open from 12 on weekdays, the fancy spot boasts a varied drinks menu and is also a pretty decent, albeit pricey, place to get grub. But hey, you deserve it after work!

The Long Hall

Despite its location on the busy George's Street, The Long Hall is a relatively quiet pub, and is one of the best spots for a few pints of black stuff in Dublin.

It's quite old looking and is one of better spots for mingling with locals than tourists in its vacinity.

Peruke & Periwig

Located on Dawson St, just off Stephen's Green, this is another traditional place where you'll be able to relax and unwind in peace.

You'd probably be better coming here if you're looking for cocktails, as this is what it specialises in.

Bar With No Name (nonamebar.ie)

The Bar With No Name

This hip spot boats some class art-work, and there's a variety of tempting Mojito's on offer to treat yourself to.

Another open around lunchtime most days, just in case you're feeling a liquid lunch.
