Here is where flood warnings remain in place in Nottinghamshire on Sunday, November 17

Six flood warnings remain in place across Nottinghamshire today, November 17, as people are urged to take action.

Further rainfall is still expected in some areas of the county and the warning means residents are advised to move family, pets and cars to safety.

It is one level above a flood alert, which means flooding is possible and you should be prepared. A total of 11 alerts are also in place.

Here is where the latest warnings are:

River Trent at Carlton on Trent including Beck Cottage

River levels are high but steady at the Torksey river gauge as a result of high spring tides coinciding with high river levels. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. Areas most at risk are Carlton on Trent including Beck Cottage. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours.

River Trent at Cavendish Bridge

River levels are high, but steady at the Shardlow river gauge. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible. Areas most at risk are Cavendish Bridge, including Back Lane and London Road.

Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels expected to remain high until at least Monday, November 18.

River Trent at Collingham

River levels are high but steady at the Torksey river gauge as a result of high spring tides coinciding with high river levels. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. The area most at risk is Collingham. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels expected to remain high throughout the weekend

River Trent at Dunham-on-Trent

River levels are high but steady at the Torksey river gauge as a result of high spring tides coinciding with high river levels. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. Areas most at risk are the A57 Dunham Road Bridge at Dunham-on-Trent. Property is not expected to flood at this stage. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels expected to remain high throughout the weekend.

River Trent at Girton

River levels have risen at the Torksey river gauge as a result of high spring tides coinciding with high river levels. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. The area most at risk is Girton. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels expected to remain high throughout the weekend.

River Trent at Newark Tolney Lane and Riverside Marinas

River levels are high but steady at the Farndon river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. Areas most at risk are Tolney Lane Caravan Site and riverside marinas in Newark. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. The latest information from the Environment Agency states river levels are expected to remain high until today.
