Here are Zach Kerr’s contract details with Broncos

We now know the details of defensive lineman Zach Kerr’s two-year contract with the Denver Broncos.

Kerr’s deal with Denver included a $600,000 signing bonus (which will be prorated over two years) and an additional $1.75 million this year if he plays in every game in 2019, according to KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis.

If he remains on the team and plays in every game in 2020, Kerr will earn another $2.65 million next season. He will have salary cap hits of $2.05 million this year and $2.95 million next year.

In addition to signing Kerr, the Broncos also signed long snapper Casey Kreiter, tight end Jeff Heuerman, offensive tackle Ja’Wuan James, defensive back Kareem Jackson and cornerback Bryce Callahan this offseason.

After making those six moves, Denver has $15,109,567 in remaining salary cap space, according to the NFL Players Association. Of that $15 million, around $4 million will have to be set aside for the team’s draft class.

The Broncos did not use $8 million worth of cap space in 2018.
