Here Are the Top 3 Stocks Dan Ives Is Betting On in His New AI ETF

Renowned technology analyst Dan Ives has launched his first exchange-traded fund, betting big on the companies he believes will dominate the artificial intelligence revolution. The Dan IVES Wedbush AI Revolution ETF (IVES) features Nvidia (NVDA), Microsoft (MSFT), and Broadcom (AVGO) as its three largest holdings, reflecting Ives’ conviction in these AI powerhouses.

The ETF represents a crystallization of Ives’ multi-year research framework, which identifies 30 public companies at the core of what he calls a “multitrillion-dollar AI investment cycle.”

Nvidia leads the portfolio as the dominant AI chip manufacturer, while Microsoft brings cloud infrastructure and enterprise AI deployment through Azure and OpenAI partnerships. Broadcom rounds out the top three with its critical semiconductor components, which power AI data centers.

Ives strategically weighted the fund to balance high-conviction exposure with reduced concentration risk across six key sectors: semiconductors, hyperscalers, cybersecurity, consumer platforms, robotics, and cloud infrastructure. This approach targets companies that drive both AI infrastructure development and practical deployment across various industries.

The fund launch marks Wedbush’s entry into the rapidly growing ETF market, capitalizing on Ives’r eputation for identifying technology disruption trends. According to Wedbush CEO Gary Wedbush, AI represents the most transformational economic force of our lifetime, making the IVES ETF a vehicle for investors seeking disciplined exposure to this technological revolution.

The ETF provides transparent, cost-effective access to Ives’ research-driven stock selection process, targeting companies with established momentum and long-term potential in enterprise and consumer AI adoption.

Let’s see why each of the top three stocks could potentially deliver outsized gains to investors.

Is Nvidia Stock a Good Buy?

Nvidia recently outlined that it is capitalizing on the explosive growth in AI inference demand.

The chip maker emphasized its platform advantage in handling complex workloads across trillion-parameter models, noting that it thrives on solving difficult technical challenges that competitors struggle with. The Blackwell architecture enables efficient processing of sophisticated reasoning models that require multi-GPU configurations.

Moreover, the sovereign AI opportunity represents significant incremental demand, with approximately 100 AI factories currently under construction globally. Countries are investing in national AI infrastructure to maintain data sovereignty and computing independence.

Nvidia’s ecosystem approach, spanning from CUDA development tools to enterprise support services, positions the company to monetize both hardware and software as AI adoption accelerates across enterprises seeking direct engagement with the platform leader.

Out of the 44 analysts covering NVDA stock, 37 recommend “Strong Buy,” three recommend “Moderate Buy,” three recommend “Hold,” and one recommends “Strong Sell.” The average target price for NVDA stock is $174, roughly 21% above the current price.

Should You Buy Broadcom Stock Now?

Broadcom delivered exceptional fiscal Q2 results, with record revenue of $15 billion, up 20% year-over-year, driven by robust demand for AI semiconductors. AI semiconductor revenue reached $4.4 billion, growing 46% year-over-year, with CEO Hock Tan projecting this momentum to continue into fiscal 2026. Broadcom’s AI networking business emerged as a standout performer, growing 170% year-over-year and accounting for 40% of total AI revenue.

This growth reflects hyperscalers’ preference for Ethernet-based solutions in both scale-out and scale-up deployments. Broadcom’s networking portfolio, including Tomahawk switches and Jericho routers, is capturing significant market share within AI clusters.

Custom AI accelerators (XPUs) also showed strong double-digit growth as hyperscale customers advance their multi-year deployments. Tan emphasized that customers are focusing on inference workloads to monetize their AI investments, potentially accelerating XPU demand in late 2026.

The company maintains its outlook for at least three customers to deploy 1 million AI accelerator clusters by 2027, with custom silicon expected to capture a significant portion of these deployments.

Out of the 35 analysts covering AVGO stock, 31 recommend “Strong Buy,” one recommends “Moderate Buy,” and three recommend “Hold.” The average target price for AVGO stock is $254.90, 4% above the current price.
