While bolstering depth with the NFL draft this offseason, the New England Patriots also brought on 15 undrafted free agents.
The undrafted class has many talented and overlooked players — a few that have a real shot of making the team’s roster. De’Jon Harris, J.J. Taylor, Bill Murray, Isaiah Zuber and Jeff Thomas are names to look out for this summer. Four of those players received abnormally large amounts of guaranteed money from the Patriots — with at least $100 thousand each.
Thomas is an extremely explosive receiver who has unreal potential on the field, but has some issues to work through off the field. Because of the Patriots’ lack of depth on the defensive line, Murray is the most likely to make the roster at this point. The Patriots need all the help they can get at linebacker — giving Harris a solid shot also.
