Here are the drinks and snacks you can get for £1 or less with Eat Out to Help Out

Treating yourself couldn't be easier this month thanks to Eat Out to Help Out.

The Government's scheme is allowing diners to get a 50% discount on meals and non-alcoholic drinks, up to the value of £10 per person, in pubs, restaurants and cafes until the end of August.

The discount is only available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but there’s no limit to the number of times a day you can use it.

What's more? You can save even more money by stacking deals on the days when the Eat Out to Help Out scheme is running.

This includes Burger King's Whopper, which you'll be able to pick up for £1 on Wednesdays.

The famous burgers are usually priced at £4.49, but the fast food chain has slashed the price to only £1.99 for dine-in and takeaway on its app.

Meaning if you order it for takeaway, you'll have to pay £1.99 by using the app or if you eat in, you only need to pay £1.
