Here Are The ‘Destiny 2’ Iron Banner God Rolls To Farm Once It’s Not Broken

Destiny 2 Bungie

Destiny 2 has launched another round of Iron Banner here in Season of the Splicer, which many players were looking forward to because it offered four new weapons, two reprised ones, and two brand new ones for the first time in…I genuinely cannot even remember how long.

But that excitement was short-lived, as players quickly realized that a bug was preventing the two new weapons, the shotgun and machine gun, from dropping from Tokens, matches or bounties, and you could only get one copy of each from the Iron Banner questline. Bungie has said this is a bug and will be fixed, but we’re not sure then.

Until then, I would not spend any tokens if you’re going for those two. I might not even play Iron Banner if your main motivation is to hunt for those two weapons once you’re done with the quest. But once this is all resolved, timed to non-target farm some potential god rolls. And here they are:

Destiny 2 Bungie

Finite Impactor (Hands Cannon)

Heating Up or Killing Wind/Eye of the Storm or Multikill Clip or Iron Reach - A lot of combo choices in here as it mostly depends on your personal preference. I can see how you might take Killing Wind over hot new perk Heating Up, and Killing Wind combined with Iron Reach in particular is an interesting combo here.

No Distractions/Eye of the Storm – For ultimate 1v1 dueling that you should rarely lose with a combination of these two.

Under Pressure/Iron Grip – The ultimate stability combo to make your 140 feel more like a 180.

Destiny 2 Bungie

Occluded Finality (Sniper Rifle)

Snapshot/Opening Shot – It’s the new Quickdraw Opening Shot now that Quickdraw has been nerfed.

No Distractions/Eye of the Storm – Again, for intense dueling but perhaps less good than on the Hand Cannon.

Snapshot/Vorpal – This could be a fun PvE roll for this, and we don’t exactly have a ton of Vorpal snipers lying around these days.

Destiny 2 Bungie

Riiswalker (Shotgun)

Quickdraw/Iron Reach – Iron Reach on a shotgun is certainly a new thing, and this is something to try out with extended range from that perk.

Quickdraw/Vorpal – I’d probably try this out for PvE as I’ll never turn down a good lightweight Vorpal shotgun. For PvP though, there are probably better shotguns out there, which is what early reports indicate.

Surplus/Demolitionist – Another fun PvE roll that could be useful depending on your build.

Destiny 2 Bungie

Archon’s Thunder (Machine Gun)

Field Prep/Rampage – A solid PvE roll for this gun which will give you crazy reserves.

Rangefinder/Iron Grip – This was actually the one roll I got, and it’s a sniper in PvP in the vein of an old Hammerhead.

Killing Wind/Rampage – These two pair well together provided you can do something about reload speed on your own.
