Alright, I’ve been slacking on these lists, and we are getting pretty deep into the season, so it’s time for another cluster of my top rolls for a collection of Destiny 2 weapons for Beyond Light. I have already done the five weapons from Season of the Hunt which you can check out here, so it’s time to move to Europa’s new planetary weapons that can drop from all activities there, milestone rewards and a few specific bounties from Variks.
My favorite way to farm these passively in Destiny 2 is to do a single lost sector in an Eclipsed Zone every day on each character which automatically gets you a weapon without a big long bounty quest to do. Also, any time you see a Brig in the world, kill it, and you have a solid shot at getting one too.
So, here’s the list and my picks for rolls you’re looking for:
High Albedo (Sidearm)
This may end up being my Breachlight replacement unless they reissue that for my Hunter sidearm build.
Ambitious Assassin/Wellspring or Demolitionist – Ambitious Assassin can get you something inside like 63 in the magazine with multikills, so I love it for PvE. Wellspring or Demo just depends on how much priority you place on your grenade instead of all your abilities, but I like that Wellspring helps with dodge.
Full Auto/High Impact or Headseeker – This is my PvP roll for this gun, which I can’t tell if it’s better than existing options, but I have been enjoying it quite a bit.
Hailing Confusion (Pulse Rifle)
I haven’t personally found one of these I’ve loved yet, but I’m working on a few pursuits.
Surplus/Demolitionist or Wellspring – These feed into each other, as the gun performs better with full energy, these two get you energy back faster.
Outlaw/Demolitionist – If you want the more traditional Outlaw roll just for reload, you can do that too.
Zen Moment/Full Auto – This may not be bad for PvP, but it’s hard to keep up with Stars in Shadow there.
Bonechiller (Shotgun)
Autoloading/Demolitionist – I just love Autoloading on any shotgun, and this one is no exception.
Lead from Gold/Firefly – This is sort of a mob clear build where you retain ammo and blow up things with firefly given that it’s a slug.
Surplus/Opening Shot or Slideways – Your PvP roll, though I mean, Felwinter’s exists.
Arctic Haze (Auto Rifle)
I really love this one on my War Rig Titan.
Subsistence/Dragonfly – This is my fun PvE roll that I enjoy when I want to not run an auto in my kinetic slot for a chance.
Subsistence/Thresh – This is actually one of only a few primaries that can roll with Thresh, along with Stars in Shadow and Royal Chase. Essentially double super energy on kill is very good.
Outlaw/Thresh, Vorpal, Dragonfly – If you would rather reload fast than just autoproduce bullets
Coriolis Force (Fusion Rifle)
Feeding Frenzy/Thresh – I don’t know why but this one just feels good.
Under Pressure/Slideways – For PvP, though not my favorite fusion there overall.
Moving Target/Rangefinder – A different sort of PvP roll for you.
Killing Wind/Thresh – The boosts really benefit the gun from Killing Wind, so this is a solid pick.
Thermal Erosion (Machine Gun)
Zen Moment/Dynamic Sway Reduction – For all the stability in the world.
Field Prep/Wellspring or Demolitionist – Field preps reserves are reload are always solid for any LMG that can’t get autoloading.
Zen Moment/Dragonfly – For mob clear with flair.
Subzero Salvo (Rocket Launcher)
I mean it’s a rocket launcher, how much can it do in the current state of Destiny?
Quickdraw/Cluster Bomb – For a traditional pair, though Cluster Bomb is still pretty nerfed.
Killing Wind/Chain Reaction – Chain Reaction is better on grenade launches that have like 10x more ammo, but I don’t mind it here. Ads can cluster around certain bosses and this can spawn a lot of damage that way. Killing Wind increases velocity on rockets so it’s not as weird as it sounds.
So, those are my picks. I didn’t forget any guns did I? Let me know.
