1. Dr Death
I was shocked when I found out this Stan hit wasn’t about one of my local GPs who always looks grim as hell.
Instead, it’s about the gross malpractice of the very real Dr Christopher Duntsch, who slowly started to pile up victims who came into his office for complex spinal surgeries.
It’s a fkn brilliant watch, and the fact that it’s all based on a real story makes it even more spine-tingling, no pun intended.
It’s also got a pretty good rating on IMDB, so there’s also that to boot.
2. Intergalactic
I mean, just look at that badass promo pic. That could be sitting at the front of your ‘recently watched’ list!
This show came out in April and follows a set of intergalactic (there it is) female prisoners who seize control of a transport ship taking them to prison.
They then use the ship to head for a mythical paradise where criminals can be free called Arcadia, and that’s just the basic plot premise.
Defs check this one out if you love a bit of Sci-Fi action in your life.
3. Blindspotting
Blindspotting is a one of the best new shows on Stan, all about Ashley, who moves in with her mother-in-law and sister-and-law with her son after her husband is incarcerated.
It’s full of humour and chaotic energy, and is definitely worth the watch if you want to enjoy one of those shows that require you to wait for weekly episode drops.
Eps are super quick too, so you can get your fix and then go and clean those dishes that are piling up, all in one night.
4. Clarice
If you’re a fan of 1991 classic The Silence of the Lambs, chances are you’ll absolutely devour this series about FBI agent Clarice Starling returning to the field after the events of the movie.
Drama, mystery and thrills make up the vast majority of every episode on offer here, and the series even has a super hot rating on Stan, which means you can go into it knowing that crime fans approve.
5. Walker
Fans of Supernatural rejoice, because Jared Padalecki is back with a new show and this time he’s playing a hot cowboy. The versatility on this man. The range.
Walker is a cop-show reboot of Walker, Texas Ranger, but if you’ve never seen the original, fear not, because the power of hot cops and crime action will pull you through just fine.
6. Drag Race España
No RuPaul heading this one, instead we have the quirky and campy Supremme Deluxe (what a fkn name) guiding ten Spanish drag queens as they race to become the winner of the Drag Race Superstar title.
It’s fun, super ridiculous and full of unexpected turns and charming characters. And as a Drag Race superfan I must say, it’s one of the best seasons the show has to offer, and obviously one of the best new shows on Stan. Tune in for a good time.
7. Domina
With splendid ratings everywhere you look, Domina is one of those shows that has everyone hooked at the moment.
It follows the life and backstory of Livia Drusilla, one of the most powerful women in Ancient Roman history.
Often depicted as an acid-tongued schemer, Domina takes the character of Livia and makes her relatable and a lot more human, while still being a scheming heaux.
It truly makes for some perfect television. Something about powerful women is just so enjoyable to watch.
8. We Are Lady Parts
This high-energy and simply gorgeous series follows Amina Hussein, who by some strange twist of fate ends up as the lead guitarist of Lady Parts, an all-female Muslim punk band who just want to get an actual gig doing what they love most.
Its a British sitcom, so you know its fkn hilarious, and it has a 100% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which in case you didn’t know, is massive.

9. Girls 5 Eva
One of the most hotly-anticipated new shows on Stan, this series follows Girls5Eva, a one-hit wonder girl group from the 90s who, after being sampled in a hit song by a young rapper, decide to reunite and utilise their newfound fame.
However this time around their pop-girly dreams won’t be so easy to make a reality as they balance the fuckery of debt, kids, husbands and other drab elements of an adult life.
It’s feel-good and hilarious at the same time, which is a lot of what we need at this time. Also, it stars Sara Bareilles, who is pretty much a one-hit wonder herself. We love a bit of self-aware commentary.
10. The Watch
Think The Umbrella Academy but grittier. Or, think Will Smith‘s flop of a cop movie Bright, but actually good.
The Watch follows a group of misfit cops as they make it their mission to save their city from corruption. Also there’s a big rock man. And Adam Hugill, who can shoot me with that crossbow any day of his choosing.
There’s dragons, elves and a whole bunch of other fantasy nonsense, as the characters learn a heap of lessons about themselves and each other through their camaraderie. Definitely one of the best new shows on Stan.
