Here Are All Three Of Honda's New 110cc Mopeds, and They Look Great

Think back to June 2024 if you can. Why? Because that's when Honda announced that it was killing the iconic Super Cub 50 for good due to tightening emissions rules in Japan. Now, to be totally clear, this wasn't an announcement of the death of all Super Cubs, as some news outlets that apparently read our piece too fast erroneously reported. Just the 50cc lineup, thank goodness.

Fast-forward to October 2025, and Honda's just introduced the brand-new moped-license-friendly lineup of low-power, small-displacement machines that will replace the Super Cub 50cc. Friends, it's time to meet the Super Cub 110cc Lite, Cross Cub 110cc Lite, and Dio 110cc Lite.

Will they Lite up your life? Well, maybe, if you live in Japan, or elsewhere in Asia where these little 110s are likely to also roll out in the coming months. All three are designed to be easy to use for a wide variety of riders, and only require them to have a moped license to operate. There's even a Super Cub Pro 110 Lite available for delivery riders, complete with a handy and capacious wire basket up front to make your job easier.

Each of them makes about 5 horsepower, which is part of the requirement that vehicles must meet to qualify as mopeds under Japanese law. But if you're a rider who's in the market for just such a compliant vehicle, Honda's got both classic and modern styling options available for you, in a range of colors.

The Super Cub 110 Lite carries an MSRP of 341,000 yen (about US $2,267 at the time of writing), and comes in both Virgin Beige and Tasmania Green Metallic, which is actually a very nice dark green with cream-colored accents and a black-and-cream-colored saddle.

The Super Cub 110 Pro Lite comes in just one color, Seychelles Night Blue. It carries an MSRP of 385,000 yen, which is about US $2.559. The extra money covers the cost of both the front basket and the extended chrome rear rack to help you carry all the items you'll be delivering with the Pro.

The Cross Cub 110 Lite comes in three color options: Bonnie Blue, Harvest Beige, or Matte Armored Green Metallic. MSRP on the Cross Cub is 401,500 yen, or about US $2,669. It's hard not to love the aesthetic, which strikes a balance between rugged and cute.

But if the Super Cub 110 Lite and Cross Cub 110 Lite aren't doing it for you in the visual appeal department, maybe it's the Dio 110 Lite you're after. This could also be true if you're looking to save a bit of money, since the Dio 110 Lite carries the lowest MSRP of all of the 110 Lite mopeds that Honda has on offer, at just 239,800 yen (about US $1,594). Even though it's the cheapest, you still have a choice of three colors for your money: Candy Lustre Red, Pearl Snowflake White, or Matte Galaxy Black Metallic.

From the beginning, Honda has always been a brand about helping regular people get around easily. Sure, there are CBR1000RR-R SP Fireblades way up at the other end of the range, but it's a company that's still about serving a wide range of riders with a wide range of needs. The 110 Lite moped lineup just goes to show that's still the case, and that you can still do so with some nice colors to cheer you up after a long day, too.
