Glaswegians are being asked to prepare themselves for the closure of GP practices across the city as Glasgow gears up for the Christmas break.
To keep everyone healthy and happy NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has launched its Christmas opening hours guide.
The guide is available online and as a booklet from GP surgeries, health centres and pharmacies, and as well as giving you advice, also provides a list of pharmacies open on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and again on January 1 and 2.
Some community pharmacists will remain open during this period and can answer questions you have to help you cope with minor ailments while the GP surgeries are closed.
The full list of opening hours for pharmacies across greater Glasgow is available here.

The advice from the NHS is to speak to your pharmacist for advice on common ailments including coughs, colds, sore throats and upset stomachs and make sure you take care not to spread germs, especially with Omnicron now being the dominant Covid strain in the country.
If you run out of regular medicines a pharmacist may give an urgent repeat supply. This is only in exceptional circumstances if you can’t get a prescription from your GP.
There is no need to make an appointment and pharmacists can help with medicines that you have had prescribed before.
In the case of an emergency that is not life threatening, or if you need to attend a Minor Injuries Unit, call NHS 24 on 111.
