Another batch of Fortnite skins and cosmetics has leaked online.
These cosmetics are all part of the v5.10 patch that comes out tomorrow and also marks the beginning of the 1-year Fortnite birthday celebration.
While we’ve seen some historically-themed skins like Vikings show up so far this season, the next couple of weeks look devoted to a much lighter concept: Summer fun.
From lifeguards to scuba divers, here are the latest leaked items coming to Fortnite: Battle Royale.
The Lifeguard Set (Sun Tan Specialist / Rescue Ring / Rescue Paddle)
While I’m not sure if this is what this set will actually be called, this is most definitely a totally radical lifeguard set. It appears to be only male which, if so, is a total bummer, dude. Because obviously if any of these skins should have a female counterpart, it’s this one. (I suppose this guy could be the male counterpart to Sun Strider, a Season 5 Battle Pass skin, but I still think that Epic needs to have a Baywatch-style female Outfit.)

The Scuba Set (Reef Ranger / Air Tank / Harpoon Axe)
This set has both a male and female version (see the male skin below) and continues the Summer Fun theme. I dig the Harvesting Tool. Now Fortnite just needs actual swimming rather than just awkward, slow hopping through bodies of water.

The Street Racer Set (Maverick / Bat Attitude / Clutch Axe)
The male version of this Outfit is basically Squad Leader from Season 4′s Battle Pass, though in a fancy new jacket. Also, the Back Bling looks like it got lifted off of The Walking Dead’s Negan. I still think this guy looks a lot like a younger Gary Oldman. Just change his hair in Leon The Professional and you’ve got this skin.

The Modern Military Set (Archetype / Paradigm / Caliper)
I guess this is Epic’s take on the whole near-future modern military shooter a la Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare or something like that. Cybernetic super-soldier style. This set also basically looks like something out of Season 4.

Wreck Raider / Shade / Laser Chomp
Wreck Raider is the male version of Reef Ranger; Shade is the female counterpart to Maverick and Laser Chomp is the only Legendary cosmetic in this entire batch. I guess that’s fitting what with Shark Week and all, and if you have this along with the new Chomp skin and harvesting tool, you’ll be jumping the shark in no time. The Chomp Glider is just the second Legendary Glider to come to the game. The first was the Dragon Glider.
