Here Are All The Halloween Decorations Popping Up In 'Fortnite: Battle Royale'

Epic is sprinkling Halloween decorations across Fortnite’s map.

Fortnite players have been noticing some small changes to the game’s enormous map. Halloween decorations and creepy critters are popping up in various locations, all pointing toward a special Halloween event later this October.

There’s Halloween stuff popping up all over the map, so I set out to take screenshots of a bunch of it. There will likely be things I missed, or new decorations added after I took these shots, so please send me anything you find on on Twitter or Facebook and I’ll add it to the post.

Okay, let’s begin.

Fatal Fields

This windmill in Fatal Fields is now adorned with ghosts. Actually, Fatal Fields has all kinds of potential to be a super creepy Halloween location now that there are cornfields everywhere. A very Children of the Corn vibe going on:

Fatal Fields is creepier than ever.

Some massive pumpkins would be cool here, a la Charlie Brown.

Tilted Towers

Here you can see ghosts hanging beneath streetlights in Tilted Towers:

(Remember, dancing under streetlights is one of this week’s challenges.)

Pleasant Park

Over in Pleasant Park, you’ll find some creepy cobwebs and a couple of spiders out front of this notorious house:

This spider is bloody huge, but one swing of your pickaxe will smite it:

There’s another spider on the side of the house:

The jack-o-lanterns out front are next to a smoke machine that goes off when you approach:

The Silo

The old rocket silo is rather rundown these days. And now there are cobwebs that have chests stuck in them hanging from the walls:

Retail Row

Finally, we come to Retail Row where a Halloween Shop is just bursting with holiday chills:

This model haunted house lights up when you enter the shop:

And this witch lights up and cackles:

The Floating Island

While this isn’t exactly a Halloween change, I do want to mention that big purple blocks are growing out of the ground on the floating island as well:

That’s all I’ve seen of Halloween decorations so far. I think we can expect a pretty robust Halloween Fortnite event this month. I’m a little confused why Epic released the creepy clown skins so early, as those would have made really great Halloween Outfits.

In any case, remember to let me know (on Twitter or Facebook) if you find any other cool Halloween decorations across the map. Send a screenshot if possible and I’ll give you credit for whatever you discover.

Thanks for reading!
