Here are all the Covid restrictions that are to be lifted next week

The next set of Covid restrictions are set to be lifted starting next week. This is one of the final steps on the road to the lifting of remaining restrictions on October 22.

On September 6, organised indoor events and mass gatherings returned with capacity restrictions of 60% when all patrons are fully immune or recovered from Covid 19 in the previous six months.

There was also a return of live music at weddings as well as the return of other religious ceremonies like communion and confirmation.

But what restrictions are being lifted on September 20?

Organised Indoor Group Activities

Indoor group activities such as sports, arts, culture, dance classes can take place with capacity limits of 100 where everyone is either fully vaccinated or recovered from Covid 19.

If there's mixed immunity status among patrons, pods of 6 will be allowed. Multiple pods will be allowed subject to protective measures. The number of pods allowed will depend on the size of the venue as well as social distancing between each pod.

Outdoor Group Activities

All remaining restrictions on outdoor activities will be removed.

Return to Workplaces

Workers will begin to return to offices around the country starting on September 20. It will be on a phased and staggered basis.
