Assassin’s Creed, The Division, Ghost Recon: Wildlands and dozens of other Ubisoft titles are on a steep sale right now on Steam.
It’s Ubisoft’s Publisher Weekend on Steam, which is fitting given recent news that the French publisher escaped a hostile takeover from Vivendi. It’s also just in time for the release of Far Cry 5 next week, and the launch of Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered earlier this week.
While there are a whole bunch of Ubi games on sale right now, I’ve gone through the list and picked my top 15 picks from a wide range of genres and franchises, both new and old. Some of these are as cheap as two bucks, while others will set you back $20 or more.
Here they are:
1. The Division is 75% off ($14.99)
By all accounts, Ubisoft has transformed this game into something truly good. Yes, it’s taken a couple of years to get it right, but that’s what Ubisoft has done, listening to community feedback and creating a really top-notch shared-world shooter. There’s never been a better time to jump in.
2. Ghost Recon: Wildlands is 66% off ($19.79)
One of the surprise hits of 2017, Ghost Recon: Wildlands received mixed reviews at launch but proved to be one of Ubisoft’s strongest titles of the year. That’s not surprising given how much fun the game is to play with friends. Squad up and take down the cartel using high-tech military weapons, helicopters, planes and motorcycles. The story is flimsy but the gameplay is great.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is 40% off ($35.99)
The best Assassin’s Creed since Black Flag, Origins is one of those games that just shines with positive changes to old formulas. Set in classical Egypt, discover the origins of the Brotherhood and the Templar, and do it all with completely overhauled combat in an RPG-lite version of the popular series.
Far Cry Blood Dragon is 60% off ($5.99)
Still one of my favorite Far Cry titles, this little gem is a standalone expansion to Far Cry 3. (That game was also excellent and is 66% off at $7.99 right now.) Play as an 80s’ cartoon action hero in this hilarious neon shooter where you throw 20-sided dice to distract enemies.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist is 66% off ($10.19)
I’m a sucker for stealth games, and Blacklist is an excellent stealth game. It’s the latest in a long line of great Splinter Cell titles and even just writing about it makes me really wish that Ubisoft would publish a new one.

Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger is 75% off ($3.74)
There aren’t very many good cowboy games out there, but Call of Juarez is one of them. Seriously, if you have any love for old Westerns, gunslingers and the Wild West, buy this game. I think it still holds up years later, both from a graphics and gameplay perspective.
Rayman Legends is 66% off ($10.19)
The Rayman platformers are so much fun. Zany, colorful, musical and ridiculous, Rayman Legends is a blast from start to finish. It can get pretty tough at points, but that only adds to the fun as far as I’m concerned. Great for kids and grown-ups alike.
Child of Light is 66% off ($5.09)
I hope Ubisoft keeps making these UbiArt games. Child of Light isn’t a perfect RPG by any means, but it’s gorgeous and charming and well worth a five dollar bill. Explore deadly, beautiful levels as young Aurora, a princess with magical abilities.

South Park: The Stick Of Truth is 75% off ($7.49)
Arguably the better, if buggier, of the two South Park RPGs, I couldn’t stop laughing throughout this vulgar, satirical adventure. Written by the South Park creators and developed by veteran RPG designers Obsidian, this is a game no fan of the cartoon should miss.
Grow Up is 75% off ($1.99)
This charming robot platformer is an absolute gem, and it’s two dollars right now. That’s less than a cup of coffee! Play as BUD and escape into a world of thrills and exploration. It’s well worth your time and money even if it is short.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is 66% off ($3.39)
A classic and the precursor to the Assassin’s Creed franchise, this is a truly great (if a little dated) action game. Then again, I was playing the very original black and white, 2D Prince of Persia back when I was a kid, so this seemed like quite a technological advancement to me when I first played it…many years ago.
Valiant Hearts is 66% off ($5.09)
Another UbiArt title, this is a game about war that doesn’t actually glorify war and violence. Puzzles and a great story that will make you, well, kind of sad to be honest, make this a truly great little game.
Far Cry is 60% off ($3.99)
The original Far Cry is way different from all the rest, but it remains one of my fondest memories. It was, at the time, graphically quite stunning. And those binoculars that could listen in on the ridiculous enemy conversations were wonderful and hilarious. It’s a goofy game but loads of fun.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is 50% off ($9.99)
I had to toss this one in despite already including Assassin’s Creed: Origins simply because it remains my favorite game in the series. If you like being a pirate this game is for you. It also has an incredibly powerful story that you need to play right up to the end.
Watch Dogs 2 is 66% off ($20.39)
A huge leap in quality over the original, Watch Dogs 2 is basically Grand Theft Auto with hacking, non-violent options and a cast of nerdy misfits. I think everyone was surprised by how great this game was when it came out. Don’t miss it.
That’s all folks.
Like I said, there are a ton of Ubisoft games on sale right now on Steam so I definitely missed out on some good ones. You can see everything on sale here. Let me know which ones you enjoy and recommend for other gamers on Twitter or Facebook, and thanks for stopping by!
