Her's fatal crash was 'head-on with alcoholic beverage container found nearby'

Members of the Liverpool band Her's were killed alongside their manager in a 'head-on collision' caused by a 63-year-old driver travelling in the wrong direction.

Police said an alcoholic beverage container was found near the crash scene, although it is not clear at this stage which vehicle it came from.

Her's band members Stephen Fitzpatrick, 24, and Audun Laading, 25, were killed alongside their tour manager Trevor Engelbrektson when their Ford passenger van crashed into a pickup.

Police reported there were no signs of the vehicles braking before the collision.
