Henry Cejudo has announced his retirement from UFC after successfully defending his bantamweight title against Dominick Cruz.

The 33-year-old secured a second round TKO win over Cruz in the co-main event of UFC 249 in Jacksonville, Florida before confirming his decision to walk away from MMA.

"I am retiring tonight, at 33 I am happy with my career, Dana White is the man and I am thankful. But Triple C is out," he said in his post-fight interview.
