Henrik Stenson breaks his club after a brutal shank at The Open Championship

Henrik Stenson got heated at The Open Championship on Sunday.

After appearing to hit the ball with the hosel, Stenson shanked his shot to the right on the 17th hole during round four at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Ireland. The shot was so bad that Stenson screamed while he watched it in flight. He then snapped his iron over his leg. It’s not the first time Stenson has snapped his club at The Open — he did the same thing in 2016.

Stenson started the day at six-under par, but slipped down the leaderboard during a rough day four and ended the tournament at one-under.
