Henbury Hill crash: Elderly woman dies at scene

Police have confirmed that an elderly woman has died following a crash on Henbury Road yesterday (April 26).

Three vehicles were involved in the collision, which happened near the Falcondale Road traffic lights at 2.40pm. The woman, who was in her 70s, had been driving one of the vehicles and died at the scene.

Avon and Somerset Police say that her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers, adding that thoughts are with them at this difficult time.

Now police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who was travelling on Henbury Road around the time and has dashcam footage, to contact them.
