Hen party hunting for hot water find 'crackpipe' in Pontins room

A hen party staying at Southport Pontins claim they found a 'crackpipe' in their room.

One of the women from the group slammed the holiday park, on Shore Road, after they discovered the item during their stay earlier this month.

The group said they expected to have a '48 hour partying weekend' but it wasn't quite what they expected and were left disappointed instead, reports LancsLive.

They said they chose to stay at the club room at Southport Pontins, but described their accommodation as a 'dump'.

While looking for hot water, one of the women said she found a 'crackpipe'.

She took to review site TripAdvisor to share her experience.

Alongside a one star review titled 'Absolutely worse place in history' she wrote: "I've never in my life been to somewhere like this, we paid for a club room and we [got] some dump!

"We came for a hen do it was meant to be a 48 hour partying weekend, pub closed at tea time, the bar and music stopped at 1am.

"We also found a crackpipe while looking for hot water to use our shower, which reception wouldn’t help us with - awful place."

Pontins Southport is owned by Britannia Hotels. They have been approached for comment.
