A woman who claims she found what appeared to be a “crack pipe” in her room at Southport Pontins has called the holiday park the “worst place in history”.
The holidaymaker, who has not been named, visited the Lancashire holiday park with friends for a hen party earlier this month, but said she came away feeling disappointed.
The women were expecting to have a "48 hour partying weekend" but it wasn't quite what they expected.
They chose to stay at the club room, but claimed their accommodation was a "dump".
To make matters worse, the woman claimed she found a "crackpipe" while looking for hot water.
She took to the review site TripAdvisor to share her experience, giving the holiday park a one-star review titled: “Absolute worst place in history”.
"I've never in my life been to somewhere like this, we paid for club room and we [got] some dump!” she continued.
"We came for a hen do. It was meant to be a 48 hour partying weekend, pub close at tea time, the bar and music stopped at 1am.
"We also found a crackpipe while looking for hot water to use our shower, which reception wouldn’t help us, awful place."
It’s not the first negative review the holiday park has received.
Another guest who stayed at Pontins Southport this month described it as being the "worst place UK has to offer".
He expressed concerns about catching "some kind of STD" from sitting down or touching anything in the chalet.
The man described the mattress as being "covered in poo and blood" and claims the other side was "worse" has had springs poking out.
He posted a one star review on TripAdvisor titled "Don't come here it's the worse place UK has to offer."
It said: "On arrival everything seemed run down. I was placed in room 609, we had no hot water the whole time, I think they may have bought used mattresses from old people care homes. My mattress was covered in poo and blood, when I went to flip the mattress it was worse on the other side and also had springs poking out of the mattress.
"I should of brought 70% I SO alcohol with me as I was actually concerned about catching some kind of STD just from sitting down or touching anything in my chalet.
"Shower also didn't work and I shall refer to the bath tub as the kitchen sink because of how small it was. If you want a bedbug infestation some genital warts and some crusty old poo on your walls then this is the place for you."
Pontins Southport is owned by Britannia Hotels. The Mirror has approached them for comment.
