Anglo American’s Equipe Motivação team has set up a professional qualification programme that provides a pathway for young people in the Conçeição do Mato Dentro area to join the Minas-Rio workforce across the states of Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In partnership with the National Industrial Apprenticeship Service (SENAI), Minas-Rio’s HR department established the Equipe Motivação team to share technical knowledge and professional experience with young people.
A qualification programme established in partnership with SENAI provides a pathway for young people in the local Conçeição do Mato Dentro area to join the Minas-Rio workforce. The programme raises awareness of job opportunities within Minas-Rio, and equips young people with the skills and understanding they need for full-time employment in the mining industry.
