Glaswegians are being encouraged to help the homeless as the city gears up to battle strong winds, with weather warnings in place across Scotland.
Turning Point, a homeless service, are urging people to re-gift unwanted Christmas presents to rough sleepers to help fend off the cold as temperatures dip.
The centre on Glasgow’s West Street are in need of for donations of warm clothing – particularly base layers –including gloves, hats, scarves, socks and underwear.
Turning Point homeless service on Commerce Street in Glasgow are asking for toiletries. If you have any unwanted soap, sanitary products or perfumes then.
To donate unwanted gift items, drop off donations at either of Turning Points two locations on West Street or Commerce Street.
