July marks the end of the Wildlife Trust's 30 Days Wild challenge but not all is over. The month long challenge saw people all over Nottinghamshire take part in doing something wild every day in June.
It was in a bid to make people connect with nature by doing a different act each day. Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust are not stopping there though.
They are encouraging those who were inspired by the 30 days challenge to take part in 365 Days Wild. The Trust have given participants a range of activities they can get started with.

Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust said: "You can start by plotting your actions for wildlife and nature on Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trusts map. Do you put water out for the birds and hedgehogs? Have you spoken up for nature and contacted your MP?
"Or do you feed wildlife and provide homes for them? We can all do our bit towards a people powered nature recovery and it could have a huge difference in keeping our towns and city green and helping wildlife to flourish.
"Individuals and community groups across the county are playing their part through simple actions such as planting trees, creating ponds or caring for local greenspaces. You can play your part too."
The trust recommend plotting your wild action on their map to show all the ways you are acting for wildlife. It will help to show a greener and wilder Nottinghamshire for everyone to enjoy, including wildlife.
