Put on your Santa hat and join the pyjama party to donate a pair of PJs so kids wake up to a cosy Christmas.
Our big-hearted readers have already raised £33,572 for Action For Children as part of our campaign to ensure kids have a cracking Christmas.
And now Action For Children has launched the Merseyside Pyjama Appeal, which provides emergency festive hampers and PJs for vulnerable kids.
Coordinator Angela King, who came up with the idea for the PJs, said: “It makes such a difference to a child’s life when you can tell them that Father Christmas will see them in their new pyjamas. It’s a wonderful feeling and I wanted to make sure that all children had that same sense of specialness.”
Last year, 420 pairs of pyjamas were donated and the charity hopes for more this year.

Angela said: “There’s a lot of deprivation in the area and you often see kids walking around in clothes that are too small or shoes that don’t fit.
“I’d encourage anyone who can donate to get involved. You can buy a pair of pyjamas for almost the same price as a coffee, but that tiny donation could make a huge difference to a child’s life.”
Bev, 40, knows just how true this is.

"When her relationship broke down she was left pregnant, with two sons and in need of help.
Action For Children in Merseyside gave her a festive package of gifts for her boys.
Bev said: “I’ve never had help like that from anyone before and was so emotional I just cried.

“I knew I didn’t have enough money to buy any presents for the boys. It was really getting me down.
"I’d like to give whoever donated those gifts a hug and say thank you.”
