Update: Robert has now been found
Police are appealing to the public to help locate a vulnerable missing man.
Robert Johnson was last seen on September 27 and is thought to have visited Bristol city centre.
An Avon and Somerset spokesman said: "We need your help to find vulnerable missing person Robert Johnson from Bristol.
"He has been missing since yesterday (Sep 27) after leaving his home in the Bathurst Parade area of Redcliff at about 2.30pm.
"He is thought to have visited Bristol city centre.
"Robert, aged 45, is 5ft 10ins tall of medium build, with blue eyes and brown hair which is short and receding.
"When last seen he was wearing a peak cap, blue rain jacket, jeans, black training shoes and carrying a satchel style bag.
"We would like Robert or anyone who sees him to contact us, quoting 5219224117."
