Animal welfare experts are appealing to find a new home for a happy young dog.
Billy, is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross, who is currently living at Dogs Trust’s West Calder Rehoming Centre.
At just one year old, he is full of enthusiasm and he loves to spend his time playing with his favourite toys.
His carers say he is a sweet and friendly boy who loves to be the centre of attention and he will happily say hello to everyone he meets.
A spokesperson for Dogs Trust said: “Billy loves to be in the great outdoors where he can investigate on his walks, play in the garden and snooze in the sunshine.
“He travels well in the car, is house trained, he enjoys his training and is quick to learn.”
However, his carers say he has to be re-homed to owners without children.
The spokesperson added: “Billy is looking for an adult-only home with owners who have experience with similar dogs and who can continue with his training.
“He needs his own secure garden and he would be happy living with a playful and like-minded dog.
“Billy would love to find a calm home where he can relax and get to know his new family.
“With his happy and lovable personality, Billy is sure to bring a lot of love and joy to his future family.”
