Help find this friendly young doggy a new home in West Lothian

Animal welfare experts are appealing to find a new home for a friendly young dog.

Eva is a three-year-old Staffie cross who is currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder Rehoming Centre.

Her carers say she is super friendly and loves to say hello to everyone she meets.

A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said: “Eva is very affectionate and enjoys having her ears tickled.

“She can live with children 10 years old and over and would like to be the only pet in the home.

“Eva likes playing with her toys and is full of fun, her favourite game is catching her squeaky ball.

“She enjoys going for rural adventures where she can explore and investigate and after a busy day she will happily snuggle up next to you.”

Dogs Trust saiy that Eva would do best in a family of experienced dog owners.

The spokeswoman added: “Eva is looking for new owners who have owned dogs before, she would like her own garden where she can run around or spend time relaxing off her lead.

“She is worried and uncomfortable around dogs and does need a confident owner who can manage her strength on lead when out walking.

“Eva is well behaved in the home, is house-trained, can be left at home for short periods of time and loves to travel in the car.”

If you think you can offer Eva or any of the other 50 dogs currently available for rehoming please contact the centre on 01506 873459.
