A DJ based in Edinburgh is appealing for people's help after equipment worth thousands was stolen from a car.
Ben Kaelin, who DJs on BBC 1Xtra, had been using a courtesy car after his own car was taken into the garage.
He had left the car only to return and find the window had been smashed by thieves who had made off with equipment worth thousands of pounds yesterday morning (6 June).
In post to Facebook that has now been shared over 200 times, Ben wrote: "With my whip in the garage, got a courtesy car which some f*** decided to smash in this morning.
"Dumbest move was leaving my DJ bag in there
"Shifting stolen DJ gear in this city is pretty impossible, calling out any DJs/Music heads if you come across any of this to throw me the link/number.
"These things often end up in cash converter, gumtree, Facebook groups."
The thieves stole a MacBook Pro, which has a Prospect sticker on it, a Serato SL4 Box, a Lacie HD and a rare bottles of Bumbu XO Rum.
He added: "No as bothered about all parts except my laptop, its more just the rarity of these things can flag up! Help a brother out! Thanks in advance."
