The Helix panto have cancelled their performances next few days because of Covid related absences.
Shows on the 30 December and on New Year's Eve have been cut much to the disappointment of their audience.
Members of the company have caught the virus making it impossible for the show to go on.
They had previously announced that this year's production of 'Red Riding Hood' would be available online with people at home able to purchase an 'On Demand Ticket’ for their preferred date.
The panto cast includes Ireland’s premier tenor Paul Byrom and AIMS award winner Chris Corroon.
They hope that the performances will be able to recommence from the 2 January.
Ticketholders have been assured that they will be issued full refunds.
The Helix Dublin tweeted: "We regret to inform our loyal patrons that due to Covid related absences within our company, the performances due to take place on Thursday 30 December & Friday 31 December have been cancelled.
"We hope to recommence performances on Sunday 2 January.
"Ticket holders for performances will be contacted by The Helix box office as soon as possible and a full refund will be issued.
"Please bear with us as we work through each show.
"We ask to refrain from contacting the box office directly at this time.
"We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through refunds for each show.
"Tickets booked for all performances from 2 January onwards remain valid.
"We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time and we assure you that we are doing everything we can at this difficult time to get back to Pantoland as soon as possible."
