Helicopter search for missing man Tony Hutchison in Gorebridge

The Police Scotland helicopter was called out to Midlothian on Monday night to assist in the search for missing man Tony Hutchison.

The 49-year-old, who also uses the name Kevin Riding, was last seen in Gorebridge on Thursday, May 23 at Station Road.

His family and friends are growing concerned for his welfare as he has not been in touch since.

The helicopter flew over the town as part of the ongoing search for him.

Sergeant Tamar Jamieson of Dalkeith police station said: "We are keen to establish Tony’s whereabouts as soon as possible, and are asking anyone who believes they may have seen him since Thursday to come forward.

"In addition, we would ask Tony to get in touch with either friends, family or police if he sees this and let us know he is safe and well."

Tony  was last seen wearing a light jacket with maroon trainers. He may also be wearing a blue Addidas T-shirt with lime green stripes.

Anyone who may hev seen him has been asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2762 of 24 May.
