HYDERABAD: A helicopter carrying BRS supremo and Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had to return to his farmhouse shortly after taking off on Monday due to a technical issue.
Rao was en route to Devarakadra, where he was scheduled to address a political rally later in the day.
According to sources, the helicopter had to turn back to the chief minister's farmhouse just 10 minutes after takeoff due to a technical glitch.
An official release stated, "The vigilant pilot safely redirected the chopper to CM KCR's farm, where it landed without any incident." The aviation company is currently arranging for another helicopter for the Chief Minister.
Shortly, a replacement chopper will arrive at the farmhouse, allowing Rao to resume his planned political activities for the day.
