Helen Skelton ventures on hike with three-day-old baby as fans praise her after sharing first family snap

Helen Skelton sent fans into a frenzy as she shared a snap of her family on a hike, just days after she gave birth.

Helen, along with her Leeds Rhino husband Richie Myler, welcomed their third child, posting a photo of the little one leaving hospital to their social media three days ago.

The couple are yet to announce the baby's name, exact birth date or sex.

Congratulations have continued to flood in for the family, with the picture shared by Helen showing their newborn resting on her chest, bundled up inside her coat.

Richie can be seen in the background watching over their sons Ernie and Louis who were caught on camera climbing rocks.

Yesterday (January 2) Helen shared an image to her Instagram story of her baby's hand curled around her finger.

She admitted that she is 'still in a bubble' and is 'not leaving anytime soon'.

Not long ago the Countryfile star shared that this baby would be her last after her previous traumatic birth.

Helen appeared on ITV' s Lorraine and spoke out about having to give birth to her second son Louis while alone with her eldest child Ernie in France, as her husband was in England at the time.

The now mum-of-three gave birth alone on the kitchen floor "surrounded by French firemen" as no health professionals nor her husband made it to her in time.

Helen also told Lorraine about the struggles she faced with her third pregnancy, admitting to finding things much more difficult.

She said: "It definitely gets harder as you get older.

"Or maybe it's just the first two times around, you're doing that thing where you're like, 'I'm independent, I don't need a chair, I don't need special treatment….

"Whereas now, I'm a little bit older, I've got the kids and I'm working. Now I'm like, 'Oh, has anyone got a chair for me, has anyone got a chocolate for me?' I'm really rinsing it, you know. It's my last one so I've got to make the most of it."
