TV presenter Helen Skelton has shared a cute post expressing her gratitude for her family as daughter Elsie celebrates her first birthday.
The 39-year-old Strictly Come Dancing finalist shared the cute Instagram post alongside a snap of adorable Elsie in front of her birthday cake and balloons.
Reflecting on the last 12 months as a mum of three, Helen penned: "One year of you. Here’s to the houses that are never quiet or tidy. #firstbirthday #grateful."
Helen narrowly missed out on lifting the Glitterball trophy on the Strictly dancefloor, losing out to CBeebies presenter Hamza Yassin instead. The dancing show saw Helen transform following a rocky year including a devastating split from ex-husband Richie Myler just four months after daughter Elsie was born.
Helen revealed the news of the pair's 'heartbreaking' split in a statement telling fans she was 'very sad'.
Eight months on, the pair appeared to co-parent as eagle eyed fans spotted Helen's ex Richie at the party in snaps shared to Helen's Instagram stories.
Sharing a cute snap of herself with birthday girl Elise, Helen wrote: "One year of you. Here’s to the houses that are never quiet or tidy."
Strictly dance partner Gorka Marquez was one of the first to share birthday wishes, as he commented: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!"
This was followed by his fiancé Gemma Atkinson, who Helen grew close to during her time on the BBC show this year. Gemma added: " Ahhh Happy Birthday".
Other celeb pals adding their birthday messages, including Hollyoaks actress Nikki Sanderson and CBeebies star and actor JB Gill.
JB wrote: "Shout out to the birthday girl. Happy birthday to you."
Nikki added a simple message for one-year-old Elsie: "Happy birthday"
Other Strictly stars including Janette Manrara, Karen Hauer and Luba Mushtuk joined in with birthday wishes. Karen, who partnered in a same sex couple for this year's Strictly competition, posted: "Happy birthday little lady".
Comedian Ellie Taylor, who was the ninth person to be voted off this year's Strictly, praised mum of three Helen: "Gorgeous girls! Happy birthday little Elsie!!!"
The birthday celebrations for Elsie with family and friends at home appeared 'chaotic' as Helen shared snaps to her Instagram stories including one where fans believed Helen's ex Richie could be seen. In a snap showing little ones enjoying the birthday party, a man, who appeared similar to her ex Richie, was stood alongside the youngsters.
Helen shared the family birthday snap with the caption: "A wolf in a tantrum, a Spidergirl needing balloons and lost cricket gloves. All the chaos. All the love baby girl."
