Helen Mirren shocked Good Morning Britain viewers when describing a camping holiday, saying "it p**sed with rain non-stop".
The Oscar-winning actress was telling hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway about a trip she took in the eighties with her then-boyfriend Liam Neeson.
“I lived with him for years, and we went camping in Cornwall – he loved camping as well,” she said.
“And we camp in this field, not like an official camping site with electricity, loos and showers – just literally a field. And it p**sed with rain, non-stop for like three days.”

Shephard cut in her colourful anecdote, saying, “Oh, we should apologise – we can’t say things like that first thing in the morning.”
Mirren looked horrified when Shephard apologised, asking, “Why can’t you say that?”
“Can we have that debate another time or we’ll get fired?" said Garraway. "You might be the Queen, but you can't say that."
Good Morning Britain tweeted a picture of Mirren on the show and made light of the situation once it aired.

Is this the most British thing to happen on live TV? Quite possibly.
