Helen Flanagan throws lavish Gruffalo-themed first birthday party for baby son

Helen Flanagan has shared some behind-the-scenes snaps of the Gruffalo-themed birthday party she threw for her baby son over the weekend.

The ex Coronation Street actress, who has three children with former Celtic player Scott Sinclair, shared some sweet snaps of little Charlie's first birthday bash and the details were incredible.

The couple's only son turned one and the family showed up in style at the Sinclair-Flanagan household to celebrate.

Posting the snaps on her Instagram page, Helen wrote: "Lovely birthday party for our little prince yesterday @scotty__sinclair. Thankyou Jayde @jandjeventplanning for doing such a lovely gruffalo party for Charlie."

In the pictures Charlie looked extremely cute in a pale blue outfit with matching socks whilst his big sister Matilda and Delilah wore matching striped dresses.

It was balloons galore and Gruffalo themed picture boards in the backdrop of Helen's photos and the Gruffalo himself even turned up for a photo opportunity but the birthday boy wasn't phased one bit.

The proud mum even organised a Gruffalo-themed sweet grazing board which looked extremely appetising.

A picnic table was set up in the couple's living room too for the kids to sit down at and enjoy a sweet treat.

And fans were loving the snaps of the party.

One wrote: "Wow! Party looks amazing for the gorgeous birthday boy!! I can’t believe he’s one."

Another added: "What a set up! This looks amazing,"

While one wrote: "love the theme. Hope you all had a lovely day."

Just last month the mum-of-three returned to Glasgow to be reunited with her pals for a night out.

The ex Celtic WAG lived in Glasgow back in 2016 when Scott joined the Hoops in 2016.

The couple's second child Delilah was actually born in Glasgow at the Queen Elizabeth hospital, so the city holds a special place in the former Coronation Street actress's heart.

On her return, the 31-year-old enjoyed a glamorous night-out with gal pals in the city's trendy Finnieston area, as she visited popular West End bars, AFS and Derby Lane.
