Helen Flanagan tells cruel trolls she's 'proud' of her body after being shamed in bikini snaps

Helen Flanagan has hit back at 'vile' and 'disgusting' trolls after she was body shamed when photos of her in a bikini circulated online.

The former Coronation Street actress, 32, insisted she is proud of her body after cruel trolls took aim at her figure and recent boob job. Helen is currently enjoying a Greek getaway with her close friend and hairstylist Kelvin Barron, where she shared screenshots of the nasty comments.

Helen posted screenshots of the nasty comments on her Instagram stories, where one message read: "She seems to be gaining weight - and her new bolt-ons are awful." Another read: "Pigeon toed, cankles, wonky boobs. Stunning."

Sharing screenshots of the vile words under an article by Mail Online, Helen wrote: "I got papped yesterday in Mykonos and the comments are vile."

She added: "I'm 5ft4 and a UK size 6/8. I'm really proud of my body I've carried and given birth to 3 children."

Helen later appeared on her Instagram stories where she shared a video that explained her thoughts in full, as she quipped: "Maybe I shouldn't be scoffing lunch seeing as I am gaining weight," she said sarcastically, as she mentioned having food stuck in her teeth.

Helen continued: "I just think it's disgusting and I am sticking up for myself because I think it is really horrible to speak about other women in that way.

"I am all for women empowerment and I just think you shouldn't be, especially as mums and everything that our bodies go through, I just think it's vile."

Helen added: "I actually have a really fast metabolism, It is all about angles as well.

"I have done modelling for ages and I know the flattering angles but I am really short so sometimes in pictures you can look a bit stumpy and what have you, but I just think it's really horrible."
