Helen Flanagan teases plans for Christmas wedding and return to Coronation Street

Helen Flanagan has teased her plans for a Christmas wedding with her boyfriend Scott Sinclair and hinted at a return to Coronation Street following the birth of her third baby.

The former Cobbles actress, 30, is currently expecting her third child with her footballer fiancé, who proposed last June during a family trip to Disneyland Paris.

The couple were due to tie the knot earlier this year but the coronavirus pandemic put their plans on hold.

But the brunette bombshell is not letting the COVID-19 delay stop her from having her dream nuptials.

She’s teased a festive wedding next year in a new interview, telling how she’d “love to have a Christmas wedding”.

She told Closer magazine : "We've been a couple since we were 19, so we're ready to get married.

"Although, we've got children and have been together for so long, so we already feel like we're married.

"We were going to get married this year and my little sister is getting married next summer, so maybe next year for us too."

Helen shot to fame on Corrie as Rosie Webster but hasn’t appeared on the show since June 2018 when she left to concentrate on being a mum.

She and Scott already share five-year-old Matilda and two-year-old Delilah and are currently expecting a third addition to their brood.

But the actress has hinted she could be ready to make a comeback on the soap after her little one arrives.

Helen teased: “I do have a strong work ethic, I'm very much a working mum.

"I'd love to go back to Corrie, but my children always come first, so I will see how it works out."

The former Cobbles star hasn’t had the easiest time of late as she struggled with severe symptoms throughout her third pregnancy.

Helen has been suffering from Hyperemesis, a pregnancy symptom which causes extreme nausea, vomiting, dehydration and weight loss but recently revealed she’s feeling much better after months of being unwell.
