Helen Flanagan stays in plush Edinburgh hotel with mum and kids on trip to city

Football WAG Helen Flanagan visited Edinburgh this weekend on a family trip as she gushed about being back in 'beautiful Scotland'.

The former Coronation Street star, 30, lived in Glasgow for four years while her fiancé Scott Sinclair was signed with Celtic and has spoken of her love for the city.

The mum-of-three was back up north for the first time since moving away and stayed in Edinburgh's Kimpton Charlotte Square hotel with her mum and kids, reports the Daily Record.

Posting a series of photos of their adventures back in Scotland, Helen wrote: "Loveliest stay at the beautiful @kimptoncharlottesquare Edinburgh with my mum and babies.

"Charlie in his Hedwig baby grow I love Edinburgh it’s so Harry Potterish."

The mum, who recently welcomed her baby son Charlie, also took to her stories to gush about her visit and wrote: "So happy to be back in beautiful Scotland."

"Didn't think I'd come back to Scotland with a baby boy."

Helen said goodbye to Glasgow in January 2020 after a four-year spell in the city after her footballer fiancé signed a deal with Preston North End.

After moving to Glasgow in 2016, the actress said she has had some of her "happiest memories" in the city and it will 'always have such a special place in her heart'.

Before her departure, Helen even said her eldest daughter Matilda had developed a Scottish accent - with their second baby Delilah being born in the city.

It comes after Helen recently said she was returning to Glasgow for the first time since leaving - and even shared some throwback photos of her favourite times in Scotland.

She wrote: "Planning to go back to Glasgow in a few weeks and I'm so looking forward to it. I loved living in Glasgow so much and made such special friends."

Sharing a picture of her oldest daughter she wrote: "Matilda was one when we moved to Glasgow and four when she left."

Posting up a picture of Scott with her pregnancy test in hand alongside Matilda she added: "Such happy memories."

Helen also called her youngest Delilah, who was born at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, "my Scottish baby girl" and shared a video of her in a tartan dress.

She said she missed her make-up artist friend and her pals adding: "Miss our west end late walks with the prams."
