Helen Flanagan recently became a mother for the third time when she welcomed baby son Charlie on March 25.
And the soap star - who shares her brood with footballer Scott Sinclair - has now opened up on suffering from a scary fall just days prior to her son arriving and how she had to make a dash to the hospital.
Actress Helen explained that the accident happened when she went to pick up daughter Delilah from her mum's and when she was rushing in a pair of sandals she "went flying" and landed on her coccyx.
"I badly bruised my coccyx. I was a bit worried about it," she told OK! magazine.
"When I went to hospital after the fall they asked me if I wanted to be induced but I chose not to as I thought it would be easier to give birth naturally."
Explaining how the fall meant she was unable to give birth on her back, she added: "In the end I had to give birth on my side because I couldn’t lie on my back because it was so painful. Thankfully Scott was an amazing birthing partner."
In March, Helen and Scott announced the joyful news on Instagram that their family had expanded.
Scott shared a wholesome photo of the proud parents with their baby boy and penned: "I couldn’t ask for a better gift on my Birthday, what a blessing!!! welcome to the world son."
He then shared that they decided to name their son Charlie Scott Sinclair.
Helen and Scott previously said that their third baby will be their last.
In a post before Charlie's arrival, the former soap star tagged her beau in the caption which read: “Our last baby.”
Ahead of her baby’s birth, Helen predicted the gender of her unborn baby.
The brunette bombshell revealed that she had a strong feeling she would welcome another girl into her clan.
Sharing her thoughts in an Instagram update, she penned: “I don’t know what I’m having, but if I was to predict I think I’m having another daughter!
"My girls are super excited about having a new baby brother or sister and I know that Delilah and Matilda will be brilliant big sisters."
The former Corrie star announced her pregnancy in September last year.
The actress shared a sweet snap with Scott and their two daughters Matilda, three, and one-year-old Delilah to share their baby joy.
"Our 3rd baby arriving March 2021 @scotty__sinclair," Helen gushed.
Scott, who's been with Helen for 10 years, proposed last June during a family trip to Disneyland Paris.
