Helen Flanagan has declared that her life 'isn't perfect' after she was quizzed by her fans over her display on social media. The former Coronation Street star fan implored her Instagram followers to 'ask her a question' as she spent some time alone.
Helen, who played Rosie Webster in the ITV soap, had earlier appeared on her Instagram Story holding onto one of the new guinea pigs she bought her kids for Christmas. As the mum-of-three, who appeared in a fresh-faced display, donning no makeup with her blonde locks tied back, sat down with one of the fury animals, she typed: "Kids with their daddy so just me and the Guinea pigs."
With some spare time on her hands without her three children - Matilda, Delilah, and Charlie, who she shares with footballer Scott Sinclair - Helen decided to chat with her millions of online followers.
One of the questions saw the 31-year-old asked: "Your life seems so perfect but would you ever change anything?" Helen then responded with what she described as a 'gremlin pic' showing her in festive-theme pyjamas and dark-rimmed glasses and typed: "My life isn't perfect at all. No one's life is."
She went on: "But I'm very grateful for my blessings. I think social media can be hard as we see constant highlights of people's life. I try and be [as] real as I can on here. I'm very much a girls girl. I love Instagram and I like engaging with other women. I think I'm quite good at checking in on my mental health, I'm a good talker which is important to talk [and] I'm open with my trusted friends. I probably bore them to tears."
Helen had earlier mentioned her friend when she was asked how she was feeling following the Christmas break and whether she had the 'January blues'. "January can be a bit rubbish. I ring my friends a lot," Helen admitted. "I think Christmas can be really overwhelming for so many people in so many ways and January can be a bit of a comedown from it all.
"I try and see the positives of winter, getting snug, watching box sets, sledding if it snows, and cuddling the kids with hot chocolates," she added. The soap star, from Bury, also showed her support for Scott as she was asked which football club has left a 'sentimental feeling' for her after moving around with the footballer during his career.
Posting a photo of Delilah in a Celtic kit, the team Scott played for before moving EFL League One club Bristol Rovers, she wrote: "I am proud of everything Scott has achieved. I did really love Celtic, I did a lot with the other girls there. The girls absolutely love watching their daddy play for @official_brfc. It's hard to move children around when they start school."
Early last month, Helen shared an adorable snap of her children cheering on their footballer dad. She posted the heart-warming picture of her daughters Matilda, seven, and Delilah, four looking excited at the University of Bolton Stadium as Scott's team Bristol Rovers played Bolton.
Helen Instagrammed the picture of their girls wrapped up warm in red puffer coats as they pulled delighted faces for the camera. "Cheering on daddy," she captioned the joyful picture and tagging in Scott and Bristol Rovers.
