Helen Flanagan's joy as she takes her newborn baby boy home from hospital

Corrie actress Helen Flanagan has shared her joy at being able to take her newborn baby boy home from hospital.

The Bury soap star says she is 'so in love' with her beautiful son Charlie.

Helen posted updates on her Instagram stories to show her taking her third child home with her fiance Scott Sinclair.

Posting a picture from the Royal Bolton Hospital with Preston North End footballer Scott and their boy she said she was feeling on 'cloud nine.'

"Love my boys," she wrote.

And, with a picture of herself smiling in the car journey home, she said: "Going home with our beautiful baby what an amazing feeling. It was so sunny."

Back at home she captured a video of herself cuddling and kissing Charlie, who was wearing an adorable tiny striped romper suit.

"So in love," she said.

"My baby boy forever."

The mum-of-three, who also has daughters Matilda, six, and Delilah, two, added: "So nice to clean the kitchen and not feel nauseous."

And she said Charlie is his daddy's 'double.'

Helen, who plays Rosie Webster in Coronation Street, previously said giving birth to Charlie on Thursday was one of her 'proudest moments', and she welcomed her boy at the hospital where she was born on Scott's 32nd birthday.

"I was so lucky I had the loveliest midwife looking after me that day and Scott and I are so grateful to her for the safe delivery of our boy," she wrote about the birth.

"She was amazing and held my hand with Scott through it."

Helen, 30, had wanted a water birth but things didn't go quite to plan.

She explained: "I wanted a water birth like I had with Delilah. Delilahs birth was so quick, only two hours and really straight forward.

"I had to have my waters broken with Charlie though and he pooed so I gave birth on the bed and didn’t let go of my gas and air for a second.

"I feel like I can do anything now and it was really magical.

"He was 8lbs 4.5oz which is mine and Scott’s biggest baby our girls were really petite.

"It was really nice to have Charlie at Bolton Hospital too where my mum gave birth to me."

Helen, who has played Rosie in Corrie since 2000, said her third pregnancy will be her last after suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, an extreme form of morning sickness that causes severe nausea and vomiting, which she's had during all her pregnancies.

In an adorable treat for her girls during their final weekend as a family of four she organised an Easter theme party with a tent, games and chocolate treats.
