Helen Flanagan 'hurt' after trolls mum-shamed her incredible 8 weeks post-baby body

Helen Flanagan was apparently "hurt" when trolls shamed her astonishing post-baby body just eight weeks after giving birth.

Clad in a bikini, the Coronation Street actress posed for a lovely snap alongside her daughters Matilda, five, and Delila, two, in matching swimming suits.

The glamorous soap star, 30, looked nothing short of sensational in the pink bikini with her mini-me daughters either side.

All the gorgeous comments come hand in hand with the jealous trolling about how Helen was making other mums feel bad about their post-baby bodies — something the actress had never set out to do.

Apparently Helen felt "hurt" reading the cruel comments on her social media page, especially as the photograph had captured such a happy moment with her daughters.

A source told New! magazine: "Criticism is hard for Helen as she's openly admitted to being insecure and is very self-aware.

"The photo was a happy moment with her girls and she did feel content in her body.

"She got a lot of really lovely comments but the negative comments from mummy shamers still crept in and they do hurt."

The Mirror has approached Helen Flanagan's representatives for further comment.

Despite the trolling, the Instagram photo attracted a lot of positive compliments from her celeb pals and fans alike.

Ashley James wrote: "You look amazing."

Kendall Rae Knight added: "The cutestttt! & your bod after having 3 kids is a joke."

With a heart eye emoji, Vicky Pattison wrote: "Too much."

Only eight weeks have gone by since Helen welcomed her son Charlie into the world.

Helen has been updating fans on her motherhood journey on Instagram.

Previously, she confided in fans she hadn't had to do much exercise following the birth of her third baby.

Recently, she wrote on Instagram: "6 weeks postpartum. Carrying a baby is such a miracle. I haven’t really done any exercise since having Charlie apart from my pelvic floor exercises and enjoying walks with the baby carrier or pram and obviously running around after the two girls.

"My body has changed with each baby. My boobs have changed a lot with nursing each.

"The skin on my stomach has changed but I feel so lucky to able to have carried my babies."

Helen has a beautiful family she raises with her footballer long-time love Scott Sinclair.

They have been engaged since Scott popped the question to Helen in 2018.

But they go way back; the lovebirds have been romancing since 2009, more than a decade ago.

Helen shot to fame as an actress and she's best known for playing Rosie Webster on the cobbles in Coronation Street.

Off-screen, she has taken time away from the role for maternity leave.
