Helen Flanagan gives update on boob job recovery after going under knife for 'sagging' as she's asked what she's told daughters

Helen Flanagan has given an update on her recovery after revealing she had undergone a boob job. The former Coronation Street actress revealed over the weekend that she had gone under the knife to boost her confidence after noticing that her breasts had changed after breastfeeding.

The 32-year-old kept her operation a secret and admitted she was nervous as she took to Instagram to speak to her fans and explain about having the procedure. Helen, from Bury, said she was always "really busty" but decided to take action when her boobs became "saggy" after nursing her three children for three years in total.

"I have been really nervous about sharing this, because you always get some, like, not very nice comments or what have you," she said just a couple of days after the surgery. "But yeah, it's just something that I did for myself, I really wanted to do it for my confidence. I have been really nervous about sharing this."

Helen said she never thought she would have a boob job, adding: "Basically, my boobs just changed so much from pregnancy and breastfeeding. And it's a really tricky one here, because I loved all my breastfeeding journeys. I'm a massive supporter of breastfeeding. I think it's an amazing experience that you can have your children and I would do it, you know, time and time again. But in total, I probably breastfed for about, I would say about three years."

Helen, who has three children daughters Matilda, seven and Delilah, four and a one-year-old son Charlie - with Bristol Rovers footballer Scott Sinclair, has since returned to Instagram to chat to her one million followers about her progress so far as she's unable to lift and carry her youngest child.

"I'm on day four of recovery and I've managed to put some eyebrows on and some mascara," Helen said to the camera as she donned a grey zipped jacket and gym leggings. "I feel ok," she then added but did admit to having her first night of rough sleep since the surgery.

She also shared how she can't have a 'proper shower' which she said 'isn't the best' and will also not be able to bathe in the bath or work out for six to eight weeks. "I am fine but it is a little bit frustrating," Helen, who is having help with her kids while she recovers, said. "I'm someone who literally runs around all the time and does a million things and doesn't keep still so it's quite hard."

The actress, who played Rosie Webster in Corrie, then later implored her followers to ask her some questions in a Q&A. Helen jokingly said she was 'gutted' when she was unable to eat for a while before she was knocked out for the operation because she 'loves her food' and says the one thing she can't wait to do is carry Charlie again.

"That is the most frustrating," she admitted. I made sure my child care as good before my operation. I go back in a few days to sort my dressing etc and I just hope they tell me I an carry him again soon. I'm taking my reovery seriously though. I don't want to pull anything."

Helen was then asked about what she has told her two daughters about having her boobs done. "I was just honest with them and didn't make a big deal of it," the mum-of-three said. "Matilda is just and angel and just no bother at all. Delilah is only 4 and as soon as she came home she was so excited to see me she head butted me by accident." She added: "I just said mummy's had a little op so I can't carry you or Charlie. Delilah still will be carried.

Later, Helen looked glam as she posted a new snap to her Instagram page. The former soap star looked stunning as she showed off her toned pins in a blue tweed mini skirt, which she teamed with a matching jacket. "Boss Babe Monday," she captioned the post which was soon being flooded with compliments.
